Do you feel stuck, depressed or defeated? I was talking to a friend today and I saw my own reflection from several years ago. That's before I shifted my energy from dreading the day and thinking worst case scenario to living each day to the fullest. I attribute so many things to this transformation. It's been a long road for me to get to the place I'm at now. Countless hours of self reflection through journaling and speaking with spiritual gurus (they're like therapists, but on a deeper level), unmasking of my own flaws and understanding that I'm responsible for toxic relationships in my life.
I started Voices To Share as a way of sharing inspirational stories and ideas for healthy living. I know, it's so broad... What's healthy living you might ask? Well in my eyes healthy living means nourishing the mind body connection. There are studies proving that diet affects your health which is why I like sharing healthy recipes... Well now they're finally studying the importance of meditation and relaxation. In fact, when I was getting trained at the Mayo Clinic to become a WomenHeart Champion for heart disease, they had an entire section of the program dedicated to the mind heart connection.
My friend asked how I began this shift in thinking. First, I became grateful. It's hard to do sometimes when you're sick, maybe you're in the process of an ugly divorced, lost all your money and the list goes on. I don't care how crappy your life is, there must be something that makes you happy. Start with gratitude. Acknowledge the good things in your life. Then start reflecting on how you got into this mess and meditate on the shift. There are tons of books out there, so check out my amazon.com reading list.
I also wanted to tell you about a program that was gifted to me by celebrity intuition coach Joanna Garzilli. I've never had a session with Joanna, but I was impressed by her program called Big Miracle Breakthrough. There's either a 30 day or a 90 day program. She has daily journaling exercises and meditations to help you get out of a rut! Joanna's great because she breaks it down for you, and makes it easy to make the shift.
